Every so often we feature a new pet right here on our homepage. We understand how important your pet is to your family. The pets we get to know are all very special to us too. That's why we created the "Featured Pet" section - to let everyone know just how important they are to us.

Meet Bitsy, Our "Featured Pet"

Bitsy came to us at the age of five months. She had been at the Southwest Missouri Humane Society and needed medical attention. She arrived in bad-shape with a broken leg that needed surgery and they were going to put her to sleep because of the expense. Dr. Reid decided to perform the surgery for no-charge and after six weeks of recovery she was ready for her new home. The SWMO Humane Society contacted the Brittany Rescue of Kansas City and arrangements were made to have her picked up. When Dr. Reid heard they were coming to get her he said, "Call and tell them not to, I want to keep her!" That was eight years ago and she has been a loving member of the Reid family ever since. She is such a sweet dog who wants to be everyone's friend. She loves attention and knows her other name is Good Dog!
